couch soup is turning ten, which makes it the longest running one page/one minute play festival in the southern hemisphere. in the two years since taking the festival national, we have staged plays by scores of playwrights from all over new zealand, from well known emerging writers, (including several delegates of both the 2004 and 2006 aotearoa playwrights conferences) to talented newcomers such as gina garvey -
